Graham Family Hall

Go and Do Likewise.

Our Community

The Palace, home of the Royals.

Graham Family Hall is one of Notre Dame's residential communities — a place the men who live here call home. Our days are shaped by our close community, a love of tradition, and a motto we carry out the front door each morning: Go and Do Likewise.

Our History

Although Graham Family Hall opened in 2024, our history begins in Pangborn Hall. Built in 1955 and situated on South Quad, Pangborn was our home for nearly 40 years until 1992, when it was converted into a women's residence hall. During this era, many of our signature traditions were born, such as the Gameday Banners. Later, in 2021, Pangborn reopened as a men's dorm to house many of our upperclassmen. While Pangborn has since been demolished, its spirit survived and moved to Graham Family Hall. Even with a much larger resident base, we manage to keep the tight-knit feel of our original home. Now settled on East Quad, we continue to create new traditions while remaining the best community on campus.
